Terms & Refund Policy

These Terms of Service and Refund Policy govern your purchase and use of digital products from Sleep Shift (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated at getsleepshift.com. By completing a purchase, you agree to these terms. Please read them before buying.

1. What you are buying

Sleep Shift Complete Parent System is a bundle of digital files delivered by instant download. It includes PDFs and spreadsheet files (.xlsx) for personal use by parents and caregivers. There is no physical product. Nothing is shipped.

Payments are processed and files are delivered by Lemon Squeezy, our payment and delivery platform. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record, meaning your payment receipt will reference Lemon Squeezy and they handle applicable sales tax and VAT on our behalf.

2. Licence and permitted use

When you purchase Sleep Shift, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal licence to:

• Download and use the files for your own personal household use.
• Print physical copies of the PDFs for your own use.
• Upload the .xlsx spreadsheet files to Google Sheets or other personal cloud storage for your own use.

This licence does not permit you to:

• Share, resell, redistribute, or give away the digital files to others.
• Upload the files publicly or make them accessible to third parties.
• Use the content commercially, including in any paid service, course, or coaching programme.
• Remove or alter any copyright notices within the files.

The Sleep Shift name, brand, and all content within the files remain the intellectual property of Sleep Shift. Purchase grants a use licence only, not ownership of the content.

3. Nature of the product — important

Sleep Shift is an educational planning and organisation toolkit for parents. It is designed to help you track sleep patterns, identify dominant patterns, and organise your next-step decisions.

Sleep Shift is not:

• Medical advice, a diagnosis, or a treatment plan.
• A sleep-safety guide or an endorsement of any particular sleep arrangement.
• A sleep-training programme or method.
• A guarantee of any specific sleep outcome for any child.

We do not promise, and you should not expect, that using Sleep Shift will cause your child to sleep through the night or achieve any specific sleep result. Results depend entirely on your individual circumstances. Always consult qualified medical, paediatric, feeding, developmental, or sleep-safety professionals for concerns about your child’s health, safety, development, or sleep environment.

4. Digital delivery

Your download link is sent to the email address provided at checkout immediately after payment is confirmed. The link is time-limited and allows a set number of downloads. If you have difficulty accessing your download, contact us at hello@getsleepshift.com and we will resolve it promptly.

It is your responsibility to download and save your files. We recommend saving a backup copy to your personal cloud storage (Google Drive, iCloud, Dropbox) after downloading.

5. Refund policy

Because Sleep Shift is a digital product that is delivered instantly, we are not required by law to offer refunds once files have been downloaded. However, we stand behind this product and want every buyer to feel confident.

Our commitment: If the product is not what you expected, contact us at hello@getsleepshift.com within 7 days of purchase and we will make it right. This may mean a full refund at our discretion, or working with you to ensure you can use the product effectively.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method via Lemon Squeezy. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for a refund to appear depending on your bank or card issuer.

We reserve the right to decline refund requests where there is clear evidence of misuse, such as purchasing solely to copy the content for redistribution.

6. Technical requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have the software needed to open the files. PDFs require a PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Preview on Mac, or any standard PDF app). Spreadsheet files (.xlsx) can be opened in Microsoft Excel or uploaded to Google Sheets. Some formatting may vary slightly between platforms.

We do not provide technical support for third-party software such as Excel or Google Sheets.

7. Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are calculated and applied at checkout by Lemon Squeezy based on your location. The price displayed at checkout is the final price you pay.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect purchases already completed.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, text, worksheets, and materials within Sleep Shift products are the original work of Sleep Shift and are protected by copyright. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution may result in legal action. If you become aware of unauthorised distribution of Sleep Shift content, please let us know at hello@getsleepshift.com.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sleep Shift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use our products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights or our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory local dispute resolution rights, in which case those rights are not affected.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
